Kimberly worked with me at two different PR companies on subjects that demanded a ready grasp of science and technology combined with a talent for the fast and disciplined thinking demanded of issues management and crisis communications. Highly intelligent and totally pleasant to work with, Kimberly was so gifted at writing and so reliable at making deadlines that she was recruited away from us by our start-up biotech client, Mycogen, at a very young age. A number of years later, at a firm always needful of people who could talk and write about complex issues, I learned that Kimberly had come back East. I rehired her immediately. We went on to work in many technical fields, including the crisis-ridden field of food safety. In my 20 years in the business, I had many excellent teammates, but none topped Kimberly for brains, class, and reliability.
